Additional Information Richard has been a practicing attorney for over 35 years. He has practiced in the field of labor and employment law almost exclusively during that period, with particular emphasis on compliance with federal regulatory requirements in the areas of wage standards, employment discrimination, occupational health and safety, and benefit rights (ERISA, FMLA, ADA), as well as traditional union - management relations/union avoidance/arbitration/collective bargaining - in the airline, construction, health care, banking, retail, and manufacturing industries.
He served as an Adjunct Professor (Labor Relations and Legal Aspects of Health Care) at St. Thomas University Graduate School from 1984 to 1993.
