Mark is a trial lawyer, and has successfully tried cases to juries and judges in federal and state courts. He focuses mainly on commercial, construction and mechanic’s lien cases, and he represents a wide range of clients in collection matters, from construction companies to commercial property owners to financial institutions.
Mark also has experience in contract, real estate, construction and insurance-coverage disputes, as well as drafting and negotiating contracts, emphasizing “plain English” and eliminating legalese.

Mark is a frequent lecturer and has presented on topics such as "Condemnation 101: What Happens When the Government Wants Your Land:" and "Update on Credit Issues: A (Relatively) Painless Pop Quiz" He has presented to members of the San Antonio Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs and to participants attending the annual meeting of the National Association of Credit Management.
