Additional Information

Diana began her legal career as a Briefing Attorney for Chief Justice Paul W. Nye, Court of Appeals for the Thirteenth Judicial District of Texas. She has an extensive litigation practice involving diverse areas of substantive law. These matters include representation of numerous clients in complex business, real estate, fiduciary and probate litigation. She has represented clients in shareholder litigation, partnership disputes, antitrust matters, commercial litigation, inverse condemnation actions against governmental entities and in employment related litigation. Diana has also handled complex family law disputes and proceedings and represented creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.

Her more recent litigation matters include:

  • Representing and successfully defending managing partner and representatives in complex partnership litigation
  • Representing and successfully defending limited partner in partnership derivative action and allegations of fiduciary breaches
  • Representing and successfully defending majority shareholder in shareholder derivative action and allegations of fiduciary breaches
  • Representing and defending a state chartered university against various claims brought by executor in probate proceedings
  • Representing a client in both civil and criminal antitrust litigation
  • Representing and successfully defending a natural gas services provider against environmental claims brought by property owners.
