Bruce is a senior shareholder in the firm’s Corporate & Securities and Health Care & Life Sciences practice groups.  He served eight years as the firm's Chief Executive Officer and continues service a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He has served as legal advisor to business clients in wholesale distribution, retail, real estate development, and service and technology business sectors. He has served as the primary legal counsel and the firm’s relationship manager for various small and mid-sized companies, often from formation through growth and expansion phases of development. As lead attorney, Bruce has handled all forms and sizes of mergers, acquisitions and business transactions, including representing both publicly and privately owned companies. He has participated in litigation management for clients and successfully handled mediation and direct settlement negotiations of various controversies, including employment, contract, partnership and shareholder disputes.

During the past fifteen years, Bruce has represented health care providers, including hospital systems, physician groups, practice management companies, and individual physicians, in such areas of the law as mergers and acquisitions, contracts, business development, securities law and health care fraud and abuse law. 

Bruce has spoken on numerous occasions regarding corporate and health care law to various organizations, including, but not limited to, the State Bar of Texas, the San Antonio Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs, and The University of Texas School of Law CLE Conference.
